Smith Preschool accepts children on a first-come basis.
Students are placed in Nursery of Pre-Kindergarten
according to age and general maturity, at the discretion
of the faculty. We maintain no more than a 1-10 /
teacher-child ratio. Generally, our 5-Day Program and
our 3-Day Program run from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There
is also an Extended Day Program, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
NURSERY GROUP - The program for
this group is specifically designed for 3-year-olds and young
4-year-olds. It provides students with a "first group
experience." Routines are relaxed, and the child is encouraged
to interact with the learning environment at his/her own speed.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN - The program for
this group is specifically designed for older 4-year-olds and
5-year-olds who have reached the maturity to adjust to a more
structured group situation. The program offers sequential learning
experiences in all areas of the curriculum.
SUMMER CAMP - The summer program runs
for 10 weeks, June 4-August 15, from 7:30a.m.-5:30p.m. Click here to learn more!
Smith Preschool is approved by the State of Tennessee to operate
as a licensed and accredited "3 Star" Day Care Facility.
